Angelo and Claudia are the proprietors of Bed and Breakfast La Rocca and offer Tuscan hospitality in this antique rural house which was a pilgrim's hostel many centuries ago belonging to the Via Francigena paths in Tuscany. Later it became a farmer's house, producing corn, wine and olive oil, alleviation of some cows. This simple but romantic and real Chianti house on the hills of the Florence countryside, between Florence and Siena, now offers accommodation in nice rooms and you can appreciate the terracotta and 'pietra a vista' which is the typical Tuscan style. La Rocca B&B is situated on a luminous hill in the Chianti countryside. You will easily reach the most famous cities of cultural interest in Tuscany: Florence, Siena, Lucca, Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano, Arezzo and Cortona. La Rocca permits to visit the most famous wine producing regions of Tuscany: Chianti Classico, Montalcino (Brunello), Montepulciano (Nobile di Montepulciano). Our Tuscan farmhouse is on the hills in front of the 'reign' of the Marchesi Antinori Chianti Classico production and their famous wines Tignanello and Solaia. It is a pleasure for us to inform you about wine and olive oil tasting in nearby farms as well as biking tours.
